It’s quite clear that AT&T plans to launch a sequel to the huge Samsung Galaxy View tablet, but no details about its availability and price have been announced yet. Earlier this week, AT&T published a promo video that shows some of the most important selling points of the Galaxy View 2, but that was just about it.
Fortunately for those who can’t wait to get their hands on the Android tablet, the folks at Droid-life have learned that AT&T will launch the Samsung Galaxy View 2 on April 26. As far as the pricing goes, the Galaxy View 2 will be more expensive than the original model, but that’s because you’ll also get better specs.
The tablet will be available through AT&T Next for $37/month for 20 month, which means you’ll be able to get it for $740 outright if you don’t want to pay monthly. We also have a the complete list of specs and it’s a bit disappointing that the Galaxy View 2 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo instead of the new Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Also, the Galaxy View 2 is equipped with a Samsung Exynos 7884 processor, coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage (up to 400GB). There’s also a 5-megapixel front facing camera for video calls, a large 17.3-inch display, as well as a massive 12,000 mAh battery.
