Kingdom Hearts 3’s major DLC release, the Re Mind DLC, is now confirmed for a January release on PS4 and Xbox One, via a new, now removed trailer that also heavily indicates the plot of the DLC.According to an unlisted trailer on Square Enix’s YouTube page which has since been made private, the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind DLC will be released on January 23 on PS4 and February 25 on Xbox One. The new trailer also offers plenty of insight and teases for what the DLC will actually offer. (Some spoilers may follow. As the trailer is currently unavailable, we’ve embedded the latest officially released trailer below.Chief among it, on the gameplay side, is playable opportunities as characters besides Sora, new boss battles, and much more. Additionally, the trailer also brings back some notable missing Final Fantasy characters from Kingdom Hearts 3 like Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith, and may even hint at some of the lingering threads Kingdom Hearts 3’s ending left hanging.The official description from the trailer — spoilers follow — reads:”Re Mind – the other tale that unfolded during the climax of KINGDOM HEARTS III. Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.”IGN has reached out to Square Enix for further comment on the trailer, especially given its now-removed status.
