New leak details the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro in their entirety, and the 7T Pro may just be DOA

The OnePlus 7T are billed for launch in the very busy month of October. A new leak has detailed the two phones but things aren’t looking up for fans of the company who’ve been patiently waiting for the OnePlus 7T Pro.

We’re not far from the launch of OnePlus’s next phones, the 7T and 7T Pro. That, of course, means we’re in prime leak season, and a new report has now detailed the two flagships in full.

For one, the 7T, just like previous leaks claimed, will get the 90 Hz display that debuted on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The display is a 6.55-inch FHD+ one.  The 7T gets an actually useful triple camera setup: a 48 MP main shooter, 2x zoom telephoto shooter, and a 120-degree ultra-wide angle shooter. The selfie shooter will be a 16 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and EIS.

The OnePlus 7T Pro will keep the 90 Hz display its predecessor had. A 6.65-inch QHD+ panel, to be exact. At the back, it has a 48 MP main camera, 3x zoom telephoto shooter, and 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. It also features the same 16 MP selfie camera on the OnePlus 7T.

Both phones share the new Snapdragon 855+, Adreno 640, and 8 GB of RAM. The 7T can be had in a 128 GB model, though, while the 7T Pro apparently only comes with 256 GB. Both phones also feature what appears to be a 30W fast-charge, Nightscape Mode, Macro Mode, and 960FPS at 720p recording. Both will also ship with the Android 10-based Oxygen OS.

Taking look at the specification sheets, we’re not sure why anyone would buy the 7T Pro over the 7T. The only advantage the 7T Pro has over the 7T is a QHD+ display versus the FHD+ one on the 7T, a 4085 mAh battery versus a 3800 mAh one, and 3x zoom versus 2x zoom. The 7T Pro also has a slightly bigger display, but that’s more of a con than a pro these days.

According to the source, the devices will be unveiled on October 10 and go on sale five days later. We don’t have to wait for much longer, at least.
