So much Joker, it’s not even funny
While we in the fighting game community have been widely living and breathing Mortal Kombat in excited anticipation for next week’s official release, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate seems to have taken the center stage spotlight yet again with their home run character release of Persona’s Joker.
We’ve been seeing an absolute plethora of content as fans excitedly share their experiences, tech developments, strategies, and more with the all new guest Smasher. We’ve rounded up a collection of such content so you can view it all conveniently in one place… kind of like a hub…
While a lot of our content here involves delving into Joker’s game play potential and abilities, we also have a bit of lighter fun as NRG|Nairo recently discovered a special victory screen during a recent streaming session.
The bulk of our roundup includes footage of professional Smash players like Alliance|Armada, TsM|Leffen, Tempo|ZeRo, FOX|Mew2King, and FOX|MK Leo as they all see what they can muster with the newcomer.
Leffen goes as far as to say that Joker will be his new main character, though we’ll see how long that lasts considering how fresh off release we currently are. It really does seem that Joker has an exceptional amount of potential, and very well might be one of the strongest combatants in Smash Ultimate.
We’ll kick things off with this ridiculous series from Alpharad as he takes this Simon from 100% to nearly 200% and a KO. We haven’t tested it ourselves, but he claims its DI and air dodge-proof:

Here’s that special victory screen we mentioned. Nairo wins the game with an All Out Attack, and things get extra anime real quick:
