The PlayStation 4 remaster of Ys: Memories of Celceta and the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Pack for Switch make up this week’s key Japanese game releases. First released for PS Vita in September 2012, followed by PC in July 2018, the PlayStation 4 remaster of Ys: Memories of Celceta supports full high-definition resolution visuals at 60 frames per second, as well as higher quality in-game background music.
Additionally, some elements such as mini-games and puzzles that required the touch screen in the PS Vita version have been optimized for PlayStation 4, and the activation of “Extra Skills” has been changed to the same simultaneous two-button press from Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Pack, on the other hand, includes the original Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R in one package. The physical edition is due out in Europe, Asia, and Japan, but will not be released in North America. Both games can be purchased as separate titles digitally.
